We have decided to try to stay together on the book as much as we can so we can be in the same place when we want to discuss. Our goal is to be on chapter 3 by Friday. Not much, I know, but like we posted-we are busy, working moms who don't always get a lot of reading time for ourselves. Lift-the-flap books and kids' homework are usually our first reading priorities! :-)
Here's a rule for posting-NO SPOILERS PLEASE!
3 chapters is plenty for this busy mamma. "The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo", correct? Is this a Harry Potter/Twilight like book?
ReplyDeleteJust an FYI-I'm leaving for a medical missions trip next week-to Honduras, so if you don't hear from me for a while that is why. Have to read my book for that AND for my other book club, but I will read this book, too.
This will be fun!!
I don't think this book is going to be anything like Harry Potter/Twilight books. I'm in the middle of chapter one now and am finding it very hard to get into. It's supposed to be a good series but I don't know.
DeleteI'm glad you'll be reading with us. Traci is going to read too. :-)
Look forward to hearing everybody's opinions about the book.!
Have a fun trip in Honduras :-)
by this friday?!
ReplyDeleteYes, I'll be pushing it to get 3 done. The first chapter isn't really hooking me yet...hopefully it will get better quick!
DeleteJust finished chapter 1. Meh.

I know this is a bit irrelevant at this point, but I've heard 11/22/63 by Stephen King is AMAZING!! Maybe for the next book?!
ReplyDeleteooooh Erin c. what's it about?
ReplyDeleteeek! Stephen King is creepy...
ReplyDeleteHaven't started our book yet but will this weekend. A friend that read the book said it is really good if you can get past page 100. She said lot's of characters and to jot down who is who to make reading easier. So, is everyone a bit behind? Moi
